With 400 years of baking experience between them, the Templestowe Community have perfected the recipe for the traditional scone.
With Templestowe having only opened its doors a few months ago, clients are getting to know each other better and what better way to do it than through food!
Clients and team members exchanged their own recipes for scones and the different techniques that they have tried in the past. Combining all the different techniques and variations, the group then perfected their final recipe.
With chef Josh there to lend a hand, everyone had a role in the baking process.
After dressing the scones with jam and cream, the group sat down to enjoy their hard work during an afternoon tea.
As was commented on the day, with 400 years of scone baking experience between them all; the scones had to be good!
