Picture this: good hair, good make-up and good coffee, followed by time with friends, a courtyard catch-up and afternoon music. Resident Lyndal is our guide to a day at Arcare Werribee.

Through Lyndal’s experience, a day at Arcare Werribee begins with having her hair and make-up done, followed by coffee at the café. She spends time with friends, visits Martha at the puzzle table, catches up with Residence Manager Natasha in the outdoor courtyard, enjoys lunch, relaxes in her suite, checks the Arcare social channels and finishes the afternoon with music.

For Lyndal, getting ready is part of the experience. Once her hair and make-up are done, she leads us to the café for coffee and time with friends. The café is a familiar meeting place within Arcare Werribee, whether someone is stopping for a quiet drink or sitting down for a conversation.

Lyndal sets the pace and shows us how she moves through the residence. There is time to enjoy her coffee, take in what is happening around her and decide where she would like to go next.

From the café to the outdoor courtyard

After her café stop, Lyndal visits her friend Martha, who is working on a puzzle. She then heads to the outdoor courtyard, where Residence Manager Natasha talks with her about a magpie, before it is time for lunch.

Since filming, Lyndal has shared a lovely update: three baby magpies have been spotted in the courtyard. With Lyndal as our guide, details like this keep the story grounded in her experience, the people she chooses to see and the moments she notices along the way.

Lunch, Arcare socials and afternoon music

After lunch, Lyndal returns to her private suite to relax and check the Arcare social channels. Later, she heads out again for afternoon music before returning to her suite at the end of the day.

Her day moves between social time and quieter moments, with room for both. Following Lyndal gives us a personal view of life at Arcare Werribee, shared in her own style.
