Arcare enters New South Wales
Arcare aqcuires Arcare Kanwal, the first NSW residence.
2007
Arcare enters Queensland
Arcare Eight Mile Plains is built, becoming Arcare’s first QLD residence.
1997
Arcare’s first residence opens
Arcare Reservoir becomes Arcare’s first ever residence.
1976
First retirement village built
The Knowles Group starts off in the retirement village industry, and the Knowles brothers are joined by the Ball family.
1960
Arcare Founders move to Melbourne
The Knowles brothers form the the Knowles Group, a privately-owned group of companies with interests in aged care, retirement living and property.
