Birthday wishes sent with love

On Sunday 19th April, Arcare Reservoir client, Pasqualina celebrated her 101st birthday.

Although this year’s celebrations couldn’t exactly go to plan, due to the COVID-19 lockdown, the Reservoir lifestyle team tried to go above and beyond to ensure that Pasqualina still felt special and had a wonderful 101st birthday.

The Reservoir team presented a delicious cake, presents, balloons and a handwritten card from the entire team to the centenarian on birthday.

As a surprise, Pasqualina’s family had arranged a special birthday window visit.

Pasqualina sat her suite window, as her extended family and friends sang her Happy Birthday and held up a giant birthday sign. The thoughtful gesture surely brought a smile to Pasqualina’s face and a tear to her eye.
