Aged Care Resident Profiles » Years of Advice from Arcare Keysborough
February 19, 2020

After witnessing the success of Arcare Carnegie’s new reflective lifestyle program, Years of Advice, the Arcare Keysborough community were inspired to give it a try for themselves.
In early February, the lifestyle team gathered a small group of clients to trial the new program.
The question posed to the group was: What advice would you want to pass onto the younger generation of today?
Many laughed as they began to reflect on the high and lows experienced in their own lives, and attempted to determine what advice would be most suitable.
“You have a lot of wisdom and lessons to share. It’s time to pass all of that knowledge and advice on!” Lifestyle coordinator, Alison encouraged.
Many focused on giving constructive positive advice to the younger generation.
“We learnt all these things from our many years of experience. The younger generation should take notes and learn from our mistakes, lessons and successes.” One client laughed.
