Carols by the candlelight at Arcare Caboolture

Christmas is an important time of the year at Arcare Caboolture.

From singing carols, having Christmas concerts and a visit from Santa’s elves, Christmas is in full swing at the residence.

Using wooden clothes pegs, some of the clients had even created handcrafted Christmas decorations that are available for purchase in the café.

Tonight, more than 20 clients were about to experience a special Carols by the Candlelight event.

As the evening concert began and clients slowly streamed in from their dinner, the best seats in the front of the house were soon taken.

Once the song book was given out, everyone warmed up their voices and got ready for an evening of singing.

Soon, people were clapping along, tapping their feet and bobbing along to the festive music.

When the live musician began singing the famous ‘Silent Night’, everyone waved their multi-coloured candles in the air in unison.

It was truly a beautiful sight to see as the colourful candles lit up the lounge room.

Attending the Christmas carols is big part of the holiday tradition and the clients were so happy to be part of Arcare Caboolture’s Carols by the Candlelight event.

And all throughout the residence, the sound of the guitar and everyone’s jolly voices could be heard.
