Cricket commentary

The men’s club at Arcare North Lakes kicked off the new year with some quality bonding time and lots of banter amongst themselves.

The lifestyle team dropped off the nibbles for the men but then it was back to business.

The guys had the cricket on the big screen in the theatre which was a hit!

Many stories were shared of how they played cricket in their own backyards and out in the streets with their neighbours and mates that lived next door.

Rubbish bins were used as wickets in their day and if you didn’t have a cricket ball you used a tennis ball with sticks replacing bats.

The little kids were put to work as the ones that would go and fetch the ball.
