Every morning during lockdown, the Arcare Surrey Hills community have been enjoying reading the Arcare Daily Bulletins in the “coffee and current affairs” group.
The Daily Bulletins are an uplifting publication, which include a variety of jokes, riddles, trivia, historical facts and community stories. The Daily Bulletins are created by the dedicated volunteers from Arcare’s Volunteering from Home program.
The Surrey Hills community meet daily to enjoy a cuppa and listen as lifestyle reads out loud from the newspaper and the bulletin; keeping everyone informed about everything that’s happening in the community and around the world.
“This is one of our favourite times of the day, when we can all come together.” Lifestyle coordinator, Rachel said.
