High school friends Michaeline and Doris reunite at Arcare Parkinson

Client Michaeline recently reunited with her long-lost high school friend Doris, who is one of Arcare Parkinson’s newest clients.

‘I am very happy that I get to see my friends daily now and it just brings me such a sense of comfort,’ Michaeline said.

Doris and Michaeline has been friends since high school back in Papua New Guinea, but they have not seen each other for a long time.

Before moving in, Doris was already aware that Michaeline resided in Arcare Parkinson.

So, when the time came for her to go into aged care, she naturally chose Arcare to be closer to her family and to her very good friend.

Both Doris and Michaeline have been even happier since reuniting; they sit and chat over a cuppa and see each other on a daily basis.

‘It is absolutely wonderful to be with my friend again, it’s just like the old times!’ Doris happily shared.
