Indian Day at Arcare Sydenham

Arcare Sydenham celebrated Indian Independence Day on Thursday 15th August.

Indian Independence Day is annually celebrated holiday, which commemorates India‚Äôs independence from the United Kingdom in 1947.

Team members and clients from various backgrounds, countries and cultures came together and made the effort to embrace the holiday.

Many chose to recognise the occasion by wearing traditional Indian outfits for the day.

It was so beautiful to the vibrant colours of India shine through the Arcare Sydenham residence.

Many of the clients gushed over the beautiful sarees and enjoyed seeing everyone dressed up.

The day brought everyone in the community closer, as everyone enjoyed sharing lunch together, as well as chatting about their cultural traditions and life stories.
