June birthdays
On Friday 19th June, the Arcare Sydenham community hosted a collective birthday party for all the clients who celebrated their birthdays in the month of June.
The entire community were invited to attend the party. There were party games, music, dancing, hot food, drinks and nibbles galore.
The lifestyle team brought out a huge birthday cake and gathered all of the birthday clients together. The Sydenham community gathered together to sing Happy Birthday, giving special acknowledgment to each client who celebrated their birthday in June.
Sydenham client, Anna celebrated her 90th birthday on 9th June and told her children, “My last wish is to have a big party for my 90th birthday…that today it has been fulfilled. I feel so blessed”.
