Templestowe’s gardening group

Many of the clients from the Arcare Templestowe community enjoy participating in the residence’s gardening group.

Due to Melbourne’s dreary and cold weather in July, the gardening group chose to plant some succulents in the activity room.

Each client was given their own group of pots, potting mix and a range of succulent clippings to pick from.

All the ladies involved immensely enjoyed the indoor planting activity, and the group loved it even more, that they were able to take the pot and succulent back to their suite with them.

During the activity, the ladies chatted about their own gardens prior moving into the community.

The group cannot wait to see what they will plant and tend to during the gardening group’s sessions next month.
