Mad Hatter’s Party
At Arcare Keysborough, we celebrated the end of March with a Mad Hatter’s Party.
Thanks to a little birdy, we found out that the event happened to coincide with our wonderful lifestyle coordinator Alison’s milestone birthday.
This lead to a devoted team of clients working in secret to transform the Mad Hatter’s Party into a surprise birthday celebration for Alison.
Behind the scenes, a team of clients worked away to decorate the meeting place, create party hats and organise a delicious cake.
Client Gina, came up with the lovely idea of taking up a collection for those who wanted to contribute to a special gift for Alison.
Gina presented Alison with a beautiful diamond cross necklace and spoke warmly on behalf of the clients.
Alison was not only surprised but also moved, and told us how much she loves her job and being part of the Arcare Keysborough Community.
During the party, we were also treated to a rock ‘n’ roll dance performance from Alison and Peter, which was a huge hit!
We also had a hat competition as part of our celebrations, with Martin and Gladys taking out the winning prizes for best hats.
Alison said that she felt blessed to experience such love, and will always remember this amazing time in her life.
