Aged Care Narratives » The swinging sixties
July 7, 2020

On Friday 19th June, the Arcare Hillside community was transported through time to the swinging sixties.
Team members and clients donned statement pieces and brightly coloured garments. There were groovy patterns, fringe, shimmer and heeled platform boots galore, as the sixties era took over the community.
In the afternoon, the lifestyle team hosted a disco party and invited the entire Hillside community to come along for a boogie.
The lifestyle team decorated the lounge room/disco with bright colours, flower patters, old records and disco lights for the party.
The community had a wonderful afternoon, dancing and singing karaoke to some classic sixties songs.
