Planting herbs in our garden at Arcare Pimpama

Clients from the Laurel community at Arcare Pimpama have been keeping their hands busy by planting herbs in their raised flower bed.

So far, they have planted a variety of herbs such as chives, sage, parsley, mint, basil and even some French marigolds.

These little plants will be needing a lot of TLC (tender loving care) especially during this cold change in weather.

But our resident expert on gardening is ready to take on the challenge!

Putting on her pink hat and pink cardigan, Patricia is a keen gardener who advised us on what plants to get at this time of year.

Gardening is a great way for the clients to stay active and to feel a sense of accomplishment as they nurture their plants.

Plus, they might also be able to taste the fruits of their labour and share their produce with family and friends.
