Pyjama party

The Arcare Burnside community celebrated National Pyjama Day by throwing a pyjama party- what else?

Team members, clients and family and friends were encouraged to wear their pyjamas for the whole day, to help raise money for the National Pyjama Foundation.

The National Pyjama Foundation was founded to give children in foster care the opportunity to improve their skills, education and confidence. The money raised will provide stable, important activities around children literacy and education resources. Every bit of money raised on the day will go towards helping children in need.

A client joked, “Any day when you can stay your pyjamas for the whole day, is a good day!”

The party was incredibly enjoyable for the clients at Burnside, as they found it amusing to witness the bright colours, wacky patterns and cheeky slogans on their dedicated support team’s clothes.

A fashion show was held during the party, with everyone getting up to strut their stuff in their fluffy, comfortable pj’s.

General Services Manager, Analeen went all out, dressing in a Pikachu onesie. The clients loved seeing all of the team members out of uniform and having a bit of cheeky fun.
