Racing into Arcare Brighton

The Arcare Brighton community celebrated the Spring Carnival this year in style.

Throughout early November, residents were invited to participate in a variety of Spring Carnival inspired activities such as trivia, quizzes, fascinator and hat workshops, flower arranging, Fashions on the Fields and even there own game of horse racing.

On both Melbourne Cup and Oaks Day, the lifestyle team held a special luncheon for the residents, where many came dressed in their fascinators, hats and racing attire. On both days during lunch, the winners of the community sweep were announced. Each winner was presented with a large gift hamper of goodies.

In the afternoon on Oaks Day, the community gathered (albeit socially distanced) to farewell beloved Maintenance Coordinator, Geoff, who is moving to Queensland to work at the brand new Arcare Noosa residence. The Arcare Brighton community would like to thank Geoff for his years of service, and they would like to wish him well as he embarks on his next adventure with his career at Arcare.
