Wendy Lucianai

Wendy Luciani moved to Arcare Sydenham in May 2018 and says she loves everything about the community.

Before coming to Arcare, Wendy lived in a unit in Campbellfield. After her husband passed away, Wendy found that she needed more support and moved to be closer to her daughter who lives locally to Arcare Sydenham.

Wendy is a friendly face in the community and is appreciated by everyone for her kindness and generous nature.

She can often be spotted colouring in; something she only discovered until moving to Arcare.

Wendy can spend hours colouring in the intricate details of the pieces she works on. She has already filled out a number of books, packed with pages of new shapes and objects to colour.

‘i just adore it,’ Wendy said. ‘I find it therapeutic.’

Since picking it up, Wendy has developed a following of about five or six people who also enjoy the relaxing hobby.

Wendy says that while some days she chats and laughs away while colouring, other days she is happy to sit quietly and be completely absorbed in her craft.
