#VolunteersofArcare – Arcare Brighton appreciates their volunteers

In May, the Arcare Brighton community took the opportunity to show their appreciation to volunteer, Jenny.
The community hosted a small Appreciation Ceremony for volunteer, Jenny to show their gratitude for her years of volunteering, compassion and dedication.
Jenny has been volunteering at Arcare Brighton since 2017, and during that time has formed close relationships with many of the residents. 96-year-old resident, Jean has formed a particularly close relationship with Jenny, as the pair regularly enjoy catching up with each other one on one.
Jean was proud to present Jenny with her commemorative certificate, flowers and pin alongside Arcare Brighton residence manager, Hersh.
“We are so grateful for your time, commitment, and passion. Whether you visit residents 1:1, assist with small group activities or share your special interest with those living at Arcare, we are grateful for your contributions. We always look forward to seeing you as your warm smile and friendly hello is a bright ray of sunshine. We appreciate you; we celebrate you and we thank-you for everything.” Arcare Brighton lifestyle coordinator, Lea said.
