Getting a haircut and gaining confidence at Glenhaven

The clients at Arcare Glenhaven love having hairdresser Lita back in action and they look forward to their weekly visit for a haircut at the hair salon.

The ladies are especially enjoying being able to go for a walk and get their haircut, blow dried and set.

Many of the clients have also expressed to us how much more confident they feel about themselves just from having their hair done.

Client Ignacia got her hair styled for the first time since the precautionary lockdown period.

When she was finished and on her way back to her room, every team member she passed by commented on how lovely her hair was and how good she looked!

Ignacia could not wipe the big smile off her face.

She had gained so much confidence that she started walking up to fellow clients and asking them what they thought of her new hair style to see if she could get some more compliments.

And she definitely did as everyone thought she looked amazing!

For some of the clients, getting their hair done is the highlight of their week as it gives them something fun to look forward to.

And the chats in the hair salon are always a great way for them to catch up with friends.
