People of all ages came to celebrate Arcare Parkinson’s third birthday at their Christmas Carols party.
It was a great atmosphere as there was relaxing music playing, delicious food being served and plenty of chats happening.
Clients, family members, team members, volunteers and visitors enjoyed the feast of fried food in the residence foyer.
Lachlan Barry, one of Arcare’s partnered musicians came to sing a few Christmas carols and old rock songs to the enthusiastic crowd.
When the live music started, many got on their feet and danced around the foyer with their close friends and family.
As they were spinning and twirling to the entertaining music, others enjoyed the live music and dancing while clapping their hands and tapping their feet.
Arcare Parkinson’s Christmas Carols was also the perfect opportunity to celebrate the residence’s third birthday, since opening in 2016.
As residence manager Sandra, client Stella Chris and lifestyle coordinator Jodie prepared to cut the cake, everyone burst out in song to sing a joyous ‘Happy Birthday’.
‘It’s been a wonderful three years at Arcare Parkinson and we cannot wait for many more celebrations together,’ Jodie said.
As the Christmas lights twinkled on the big tree in the foyer, slowly the evening went on as people sipped on their bubblies and enjoyed the silky sounds of their sentimental favourites.
Happy birthday to everyone at Arcare Parkinson!
