Arcare Pimpama opened their doors over the weekend for the Open Day.
Over 450 locals were in attendence to tour the residence or simply indulge in the hospitality on offer.
The Arcare Pimpama cafe was up and running serving hot and fresh barista made coffee, freshly brewed tea as well as sweet treats.
Outside in the beautiful courtyard the Vintage Ice Cream cart was there serving up three different ice cream flavours: coconut, butterscotch bits and strawberry cheesecake.
Arcare Pimpama is the fifth Arcare residence on the Gold Coast and the 14th Arcare residence in Queensland.
Nestled in a quiet area, Arcare Pimpama is located next to the Gainsborough Greens Golf Course and serene wetlands.
Beyond the luxurious surroundings, Arcare clients will be supported by our innovative relationship-focused approach to celebrating and supporting old age.
Arcare Pimpama staff were joined by Deputy Mayor Cr Donna Gates and local community representatives to cut the ribbon and officially open our newest community.
Representatives (and our new neighbours) from Mirvac, Enriching Communities Pimpama and Halcyon Greens also joined in on the celebrations.
Arcare’s CEO Colin Singh said the opening of Arcare Pimpama reflects demand for quality residential aged care and Arcare’s award-winning Relationship-First Approach to supporting older Australians.
“We have now opened five aged care residences in the Gold Coast area in just the past eight years which reflects the strong demand for quality aged care accommodation for seniors in this area,” Mr Singh said.
“With the baby boomer cohort starting to enter residential aged care, there is an expectation that the services they consume match what they are used to receiving in everyday life. They are very discerning consumers who are used to a high standard of living.
“We look forward to meeting – and hopefully exceeding – these expectations at Arcare Pimpama.”
