After admiring Vincent Van Gogh’s famous series named Sunflowers, Alley, a resident at Arcare Sydenham, was inspired to give painting a go. Although she never considered herself artistic, the finished product definitely impressed.
Jure focused on painting one of his favourite places from where he grew up and the sheep that used to roam the area. He had an interesting technique, starting with many different colours in the background. From there, he could work out which way up he wanted the painting to be.
June, on the other hand, was inspired by the ocean when she created her tropical paradise piece. It is great to see all the residents support each other in their creative endeavours.
