At Arcare Eight Mile Plains, the clients had the opportunity to get their creative juices flowing by creating their own unique floral boxes.
The class was led by Imogen from McCartney Family Funerals who also provided the assortment of flowers.
The class was sure to be a success as we had a class full of eager students!
From daisies to dahlias, everyone had a lovely time choosing the flowers and assembling them into the floral arrangement they were happy with.
Besides the pink, orange, yellow and red flowers, it was also important to incorporate some greens to balance the brightly-coloured flowers.
Flower arranging definitely takes a lot of knowledge and skill.
But judging from the floral boxes that were created in class, we believe the clients at Arcare Eight Mile Plains are ready to start their own floral businesses!
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the flower arranging classes as the pretty flowers boosted their mood and happiness, reduced their stress and anxiety and the class encouraged socialisation with each other.
“I wish we could do this every day!” a client commented.
At the end, everyone was encouraged to spritz their floral boxes with a bit of water to keep them looking fresh and staying colourful for longer.
As class ended, the students held on tight to their floral creations and excitedly discussed where they were going to display them in their rooms.
