Arcare Epping’s very own Queen Audrey was the royal guest attending the community’s Queen’s birthday celebrations in June.
There’s a running joke in the community that Audrey is the Queen: officiating many ceremonies, hosting high teas and extending her royal wave to guests in the community.
Her official duties were again called upon during the Queen’s birthday public holiday.
After her royal arrival, the community enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea fit for a Queen.
After a long afternoon of socialising, the party ended with clients singing ‘God save the Queen’.
With many clients coming from English backgrounds, the party meant plenty of reminiscing about all things British.
