100, as part of the Centenarian Portrait Project, is an exhibition celebrating Melbourne’s oldest residents.
The exhibition, which is part of The Victorian Seniors Festival, showcases 100 portraits of 100 year olds created by skilled young artists.
Over the past few months, 100 centenarians have met and developed friendships with teenage artists from their local area. While getting to know their centenarians, the artists have created incredible portraits that are being showcased in a free exhibition running until 17th October at the Meat Market in North Melbourne.
Four residents from our communities are featured in the exhibition: Anne Fineberg from Arcare Caulfield, Elmeida Barclay from Arcare Epping, Ilse Sucher from Arcare Burnside and Jack Millar from Arcare Knox.
