Fresh from the garden to plate, Arcare Sanctuary Manors residents work with the Lifestyle team to grow delicious produce for the Head Chef and catering teams to use.
Joy, resident garden enthusiast proudly takes us through the blooming garden and explains that it has taken over two years of care to bring these to life. She explains the collaboration between the residents and Head Chef Christina who kindly suggests vegetables and herbs that they could use in the catering.
After the communal garden tour, Joy takes us through to her personal garden where she has been able to grow some of her favourite flowers and plants. Joy also speaks highly of ‘good ol’ Bunnings where she frequently visits to bring flowers back to her garden.
She also looks forward to expanding her garden to another section of the residence for the community to enjoy.
