This year, we’re excited to celebrate Vonnie, a resident of Arcare Eight Mile Plains, who took home the top prize in the prestigious 2024 All-Purpose Card Competition. Vonnie’s stunning artwork will now grace Queensland’s all-purpose occasion cards, making this achievement even more special.
What makes Vonnie’s win even more inspiring is that it’s her first-ever art competition, and she discovered her hidden talent with the encouragement of Lifestyle Coordinator Donna. This victory is a testament to the positive impact that art can have on aged care residents, offering a creative outlet that boosts confidence, enhances well-being, and enriches their daily lives.
