At Arcare, every day is shaped by moments of connection, joy and purpose—and our resident Betty captures what that looks like in our latest “Day in the Life” video from Arcare Parkinson.
Her morning begins in the tranquil courtyard where she checks on her much-loved garden and plants. After that, it’s time for a relaxing coffee in the café, followed by some quiet time in her suite catching up on emails from family travelling abroad.
On her way to the next activity, she shares a warm hallway chat with Kenny, the residence physiotherapist—just one of the many genuine connections that brighten her day. Then, she heads off to enjoy engaging sessions with the lifestyle team, where fun, creativity and companionship are always on the agenda.
At lunchtime, Betty joins fellow residents in the dining room for a delicious meal, followed by a food focused meeting with the chefs and team members to talk about the meals and share feedback.
To close out a lovely day, Betty attends a beautiful high tea party, complete with a live harpist performance—an elegant and calming way to end her afternoon surrounded by friends.
And just before the video wraps up, Betty turns to the camera with a smile and says:
