Our team met with the resident Arcare Reservoir Piano Player, Heather who has become popular for sharing her love for playing piano with fellow music lovers.
Her melodious songs are often heard through the corridors paired with the soft singing of other residents and team members.
Arcare Aged Care encourages residents to personalise the resident suites with sentimental decor and many residents opt in to bring supplies to focus on their hobbies. When moving into Arcare Reservoir, Heather did not hesitate in bringing her wardrobe and her beloved piano which was gifted to her. Our Client Relationship Managers talk with residents and their loved ones to ensure a seamless transition into the Arcare community.
Heather says that what she loves most about playing the piano is “Giving people pleasure. It’s something that can always lift somebody’s spirits.”
“Playing for the residents and team members makes me feel good!” Heather said with a big smile on her face.
