Due to the increased number of COVID-19 cases in NSW, we have also decided to place Arcare Kanwal and Arcare Warriewood in preventative lockdown.
August 28 – Update about our QLD Residences
Following information from the Chief Health Officer regarding new positive COVID-19 cases in the Gold Coast community and the related advice for residential aged care, we have placed the precautionary restrictions across our Gold Coast sites.
Please be reassured that Arcare does not have any clients or team members in Qld who have tested positive for COVID-19.
August 27 – Update about our VIC Residences
We are very happy to report that Arcare Burnside’s COVID-19 outbreak has now also been de-escalated by the Public Health Unit to an active surveillance stage for the next 14 days.
Arcare Caulfield has had a team member test positive. They have been in isolation for the last 12 days after being identified as a close contact of someone who tested positive. The positive result was after an initial negative result. They last worked at Arcare Caulfield on 14 August.
August 22 – Update about our QLD Residences
At 11pm last night Friday 21 August, Queensland Public Health directions instructed all residences located in Brisbane South, Brisbane North, North Lakes and Caboolture areas to go into precautionary lockdown. This affects Arcare Caboolture, Arcare Eight Mile Plains, Arcare North Lakes, Arcare Parkinson, Arcare Seven Hills, Arcare Slacks Creek, Arcare Springwood and Arcare Taigum.
Please be reassured that Arcare does not have any clients or team members who have tested positive for COVID-19.

We are pleased to advise that Arcare Brighton’s outbreak has been de-escalated by the Public Health Unit to an active surveillance stage for the next 14 days.
