We are accepting permanent, respite and dementia support stays. Naturally, there are different COVID-19 risk protocols to be adhered to in each state and our Client Service Manager can step you through these.
As you would anticipate, the current entry process may change from time-to-time as we all learn more about COVID-19 and the impacts of this on the community.
Please call 1300 272 273 to find out more.
Meet and Greet Tours
We are currently holding ‘meet and greet’ appointments with only one or two people at each of our residences. You’ll be shown a vacant suite and see some of the physical environment to get a feel for our community. Our team members will also be able to answer any questions and provide more information before, during and after the meet and greet.
In line with new legislation, all visitors to any of our residences (and indeed any aged care provider) need to provide proof that a 2020 influenza vaccination has been administered. The meet and greet appointments will not be able to go ahead without this evidence. In Victoria and hot spot areas in New South Wales, all visitors will need to wear a face mask.
Our team members can also email information or speak over the phone, conference via Skype, Zoom or Face Time. This will include photos of the Arcare interiors and suites and links to our Arcare YouTube channel that provides footage of our residences, social and lifestyle events.
Victoria, South East Queensland and Hot Spot Areas in New South Wales
As you would be aware, the number of COVID-19 community transmission cases in Victoria and some areas of New South Wales are alarming. There have also been recent increases in South East Queensland. Due to this, we are currently only accepting visitors at these residences for exceptional circumstances. If there are exceptional circumstances regarding visiting requirements, please let us know.
We understand how difficult it is for you to not visit your loved one during this time, but these measures are in place to protect each of our Arcare Communities.
Non-Hot Spot Areas in New South Wales
In other areas of New South Wales that haven’t been classified as hot spot areas, visits will continue but will be reduced to one visit per week for two people for two hours.
Arcare North Shore in Townsville
As the number of cases in Townsville remains low, visiting will continue as per normal.
If you have any questions about our visiting policies, please speak to the Residence Manager.
