In recognition of Mothers’ Day this year, the Craigieburn ladies celebrated a ‘Girls’ Night In’.
The girly get-together is an annual event in the Craigieburn Community; and this year, the ladies enjoyed a movie night.
With most of the group donning their most comfortable pj’s, the ladies met at the theatre at 6pm ready for their night in.
On the schedule was a chick flick called ‘Now and Then’ starring Melanie Griffith, Rosie O’Donnell and Demi Moore. Of course it wouldn’t have been a movie night without some popcorn, and the ladies also celebrated with champagne.
There was also a door prize of beautiful pink crystal earrings which one lady took out as the lucky winner.
The movie was a hit with the audience. Eva commented, ‘I loved the movie! It was such a fun story.’
Norma agreed and added, ‘I love how relatable the film was being set in the 60s.’
Dorothy said, ‘It was a fun movie. I really liked it.’
