The quadrennial World Cup was a highlight on the calendar for the Parkview Malvern East Community. From the 14th June up until 15th July, the sporting fanatics were glued to their TVs to watch the exciting international sporting event.
Despite some late nights, the community followed the competition from the first week.
To celebrate the conclusion of the month of soccer, clients, team members, family, friends and volunteers enjoyed a multicultural party.
The kitchen put on an impressive spread with cultural dishes from around the world which had everyone talking.
Clients enjoyed tasting:

A traditional Germany sausage made from pork, veal or beef
– Empanadas (Argentina)
– Alfajores (Peru)
Soft cookies made with cornstarch
– Brigadeiros (Brazil)
Chocolate truffles coated with sprinkles
– Zapekanka (Russia)
Baked cottage cheese cake
– Filhos (Portugal)
After enjoying the expansive spread, clients relaxed in the lounge and watched the replay of the England V Croatia nail-biter.
