Arcare Kanwal residents recently enjoyed an afternoon of food, music and dancing at the Halekulani Club’s ‘Cabaret Wednesday’.
The magic of music is one much appreciated by those at Kanwal – taking every opportunity to sing along to a tune or move on the dance floor.
Rose and Freda hit the dancefloor and gave the guests a show with their old-school dance moves. Their enthusiasm showed everyone there’s no age limit for dancing.
Guests knew Arcare Kanwal was in the building, as residents would cheer ‘encore!’ to the musicians after almost every performance!
If the music wasn’t the best part of the show, it was the food. Residents enjoyed either fish and chips or a good steak before finishing with cheesecake for dessert.
Reginald won one of the lucky door prizes and took home a bottle of wine to share with his wife.
‘I’m going to enjoy this with Margaret!’ said Reginald.
The Halekulani Club would have been the local for many of the Kanwal residents.
Residents shared stories of all the times they had visited the area with their family and friends.
Between the food, the music and the memories, the residents had an absolute ball at Cabaret Wednesday.
