Our National Food and Beverage Manager has worked tirelessly with his team to introduce innovative processes and systems across Arcare to improve the variety, quality, and nutritional value of the food our residents receive every day. This is an ongoing process, with many more things planned in future.

Arcare cooks all food fresh on-site by qualified Chefs. Our menus change seasonally and are all extensively reviewed by nutritionists and dietitians to ensure residents are being offered robust meal choices. We also ensure that residence cohorts are taken into consideration, and menus are adjusted for cultural preferences and expectations.

In addition, we have partnered with PureFood Co who provide us with high quality texture modified food for residents who require it. This has the additional advantage of enabling our on-site chefs to use the time they would have spent preparing texture modified foods (which is incredibly delicate and intricate) to mingle with residents and discuss their preferences throughout the week.

Arcare is always looking for innovative ways that we can improve. In line with this we are proud to showcase our long term collaboration with The Pure Food Co. They create texture-modified meals that are nutritious, safe and appeal to aged care residents.

Our Chefs utilise this product which improves presentation and saves time so that the Chefs are able to focus on resident engagement and focus to resident needs.

Our updated café menu includes quality espresso coffee, hot drinks, cold beverages, freshly prepared sandwiches, tortilla wraps, cakes and light snacks. Perfect for meeting friends, visiting loved ones or enjoying a local coffee close to home.

Arcare Café is open to visitors and the local community at selected residences.
