The clients of Arcare Glenhaven decided that for the weeks bus outing that they would like to go and visit the NSW Art Gallery in Sydney.
Friday morning finally rolled around and that morning after breakfast the clients made their way down to the front reception eagerly waiting to board the bus.
The weather this Friday was beautiful which made the drive into the city even more enjoyable with blue skies and a clear view of the Sydney Harbour as the bus crossed the bridge.
On arrival the group was meet by a personal tour guide who directed them through the gallery and gave detailed information on several of the artworks. The clients stood in front of the art for some time taking it all in, asking questions about the artwork and the artist.
After a couple of hours wandering around the group made their way back to the entrance. They had enjoyed their time looking at the different artworks, thanked the guide and made their way back outside.
Whilst waiting for the bus to pick them back up they walked around enjoying the beautiful sunshine. As they got back onto the bus many said they would have loved to have spent the entire day walking around the art gallery and the city.
The hot topic of discussion on the way home was which artwork was their favourite and why. Client Paul especially enjoyed the outing as he has spent his entire life painting as a hobby so to learn about the different art styles and artists was fascinating to him.
As all the clients made their way off the bus, they thanked the Lifestyle team for another wonderful trip.
