Summer is a time of realisations and renewal. With the new year comes the opportunity to make plans for the future and adjust priorities. Sometimes, that means coming to a realisation and making difficult decisions.
During the holiday season, you might have realised that you or someone close to you needs extra support. As we age, requiring outside help for things we used to manage ourselves is quite normal.
The new year is the time to make positive changes, no matter how hard they may be. If you or someone you care for needs the extra support that can only be found in an aged-care residence, we can help. We’re here to guide you through the process and are happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Physical and spiritual health is closely linked to the people you spend time with and the relationships you form. Our unique Dedicated Assignment model enable meaningful relationships between clients, team members and families to flourish.
To become a Dedicated Assignment certified residence, team members in that community must commit to working a certain amount of shifts each week. This helps them form close personal connections that enhance and improve the well-being of everyone involved.
Residential respite care is good for families who need a break or for when they need to be away for a period of time. In these instances, Arcare can step in and help support you or an elderly relative who requires assistance.
Residential respite care with Arcare will provide peace of mind for everyone. If you’re calling to enquire about respite care for your parent, we’ll take you through how it works, what to expect and what you need to prepare beforehand. If you’re enquiring for yourself, we will gladly take the time to answer any questions you may have.
If the time isn’t quite right for residential aged care or respite care in an aged care residence, then in-home care might be more appropriate. The government provides financial assistance to support people to remain living at home.
If you’d like to learn more about government-funded home care, please contact us and we’ll help you through the process. We’ve helped many families through this in the past. We can help you understand the application process and then provide you with the ongoing in-home support.
Our heritage in seniors living dates back to 1976, and in the years since we have grown into one of the most innovative providers of aged care in Australia. Our Relationship-First Approach to supporting older Australians has been praised and celebrated by leading aged care experts as being at the forefront of elder-care globally.
And through our unique Dedicated Assignments, we bring these relationships to life. Creating memories, sharing experiences and nurturing the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of clients is the result of these strong interdependent relationships.
We strive to ensure that all of our residences fulfil Arcare’s 5-star promise. All suites have a private ensuite and most have either a balcony or courtyard access. Flat screen TVs, individual heating and cooling and modern cabinetry and furnishing is standard across most residences.
Hair salons, beauty bars, cafés, movie theatres, intimate dining rooms, luxurious lounge rooms and manicured courtyards and gardens are the norm. In addition, each Arcare residence has its own bus for regular outings into the community.
