April 6 – Arcare Oatlands – Making Easter hats
Clients at Arcare Oatlands had a fun afternoon getting creative by making their very own Easter hats.
There were lots of laughs and jokes shared as each hat had its own unique look and style.
After they finished making their hats, the clients put them on and had an impromptu hat-modelling session.
One of the clients loved their hat so much that they wore it to the next activity and later on, to the loungeroom to watch TV!
April 8 – Arcare Glenhaven – Easter Pastels for Wacky Wednesday
This week at Arcare Glenhaven, Wacky Wednesday Easter Pastels, leading up to the Easter weekend. This week saw more of the Glenhaven team members getting into the theme and wearing pastel shirts with Easter bunny ears and tails.
The clients had so much fun laughing at all the different staff bunnies around the residence. There were so many more smiles around the place, it was great to see everyone having a good time.
One of our clients Marie loves to decorate her room for all different special events throughout the year. One of her favourite times to decorate is for Easter. Marie loves getting all her rabbits out and putting them around her room. Marie even wore a beautiful bright pink suit with rabbit ears to celebrate the fun Wacky Wednesday theme.
April 9 – Arcare Glenhaven – A game of Patience
At Arcare Glenhaven, client George has been playing a game of Patience with team member Jeanette.
He enjoys their catch-ups in his room, playing a game and having a laugh.
George got an extra laugh this week after seeing all the team members dressed as bunnies, he thought it was great!
