This week we get to know more about Alsyha Ansell, General Services Manager at Arcare Seven Hills with over 5.5 years of experience at Arcare.
Q. What do you enjoy about your role?
Making our beautiful residence a home.
Q. What do you enjoy about working in the aged care industry?
I love the environment that we are lucky enough to work in every day and that I contribute to Arcare’s five star standard.
Q. Fondest memory so far in your Arcare journey?
I personally welcome all residents and ensure that they are settled in their rooms that day. I recently had a resident thank me for making the effort, handwriting the welcome card and adding the Arcare touch to their room. It’s the small things that make a big difference.
Q. What tips or advice would you give to those looking to work in aged care?
It is the most rewarding career path!
Q. What do you do outside of work?
I love to spend my spare time watching Friends on Netflix and cuddling my 2 Dogs Bentley and Harry!
