From the 30th July to 4th August, the Caulfield Community set sail on Princess Arcare; a cruise that would take clients, team members, family and friends around the world.
When clients came into the foyer on Monday, they were thrilled to see it had transformed into a luxurious cruise ship with a huge ‘Princess Arcare’ sign on entry. Thanks to Danny in maintenance for making this show-stopping piece.
As the cruise departed from Australia, clients received a boarding pass and enjoyed a farewell Australia party where some local wildlife came to visit.
Every day throughout the week the passengers stopped in a different port around the world. First up was India, followed by Hawaii, the Philippines, Italy and finally New Zealand.
At each stop the community dressed up to suit the day’s theme; there was everything from grass skirts to nautical stripes.
All activities and events throughout the week were tailored to the different countries. Exercise in the Colosseum, henna painting, deck yoga and an Italian food and wine festival have been a few of the standouts on the calendar.
On Saturday, during the final day of the cruise, passengers enjoyed a farewell rock ‘n roll style party.
Each day during the week, team members from head office were invited to join a small group of clients for lunch in the Captain’s Club, held in the private dining room.
Lunch guests, including Arcare CEO Colin Singh, enjoyed chatting to clients while they wined and dined with a three course meal.
A big thank you to Gail, Erin, Clare and the whole team at Caulfield who put together such a wonderful week.
