A few weeks ago, Maree, the Lifestyle Coordinator at Arcare North Lakes suggested high tea visits at each residence.
We would take turns visiting each other with a bus full of clients who were excited to enjoy a high tea while mingling with friends.
We started the high tea visits at Arcare North Lakes, together with a number of clients from Arcare Caboolture.
The high tea was a success so we decided to continue this activity, but this time the monthly high tea was going to take place at Arcare Caboolture.
A simple high tea can go a long way with the clients as they truly enjoy having a cuppa, nibbling on some cakes and chatting the day away with their friends.
“It was nice to meet other residents from Arcare,” a client commented.
With China tea sets and flowers decorating the tables, it resembled an old English tearoom.
The happy laughter and excited chatter also contributed to the wonderful atmosphere of Arcare Caboolture and North Lakes’ combined high tea.
