The Lifestyle team at Arcare North Lakes had a sweet surprise up their sleeves for the men on Father’s Day.
Prior to the event, they had ordered special chocolates weeks in advance to ensure it was a special day for the men in the North Lakes community.
Booklets were also designed with inspiring men’s stories for them to read.
With clients not being able to see their families, it meant that this year would be different to previous years’ and we wanted the men to know how much they are cared for.
Each one received a gift of goodies that were made up as a show bag; it consisted of sweet treats that were gone pretty quickly!
Some of the men spoke to their families via video call and they shared with us that seeing them again meant a lot to them.
Some others had window visits and seeing the expressions on their family’s faces in person was a wonderful personal experience for them.
After catchups with their families, they enjoyed a lovely Father’s Day meal carefully selected by catering and prepared by our amazing chefs.
