Another day means another bus outing with the clients from Arcare Slacks Creek.
The clients sure know how to enjoy the best things in life as they headed to the Beenleigh Sports Club for some dancing, some drinking and some eating.
The Beenleigh Sports Club organises a special Seniors’ Melodies program and it is a great hit with the clients.
They watched an entertainer, enjoyed a delicious lunch and even got up to dance.
The large group of ladies who went are looking forward to going to the Beenleigh Sports Club again for another round of lunch.
They loved every minute of it but the highlight was definitely getting up to dance on the dancefloor.
At 93-years-old and 88-years-old, Luba and Joyce were still actively dancing, boogie-ing and jiving!
For the clients at Arcare Slacks Creek, it is all about making their own choices and having fun.
Dancing also improves participants’ quality of life, self-esteem and personal fulfilment by enhancing memory and problem-solving skills, as well as promoting better movement and coordination.
You can be sure to see us all again at the next Seniors’ Melodies at Beenleigh Sports Club.
