Arts and crafts with kindy kids at Arcare North Shore

The Christmas spirit has never been stronger at Arcare North Shore.

Children from Petite Early Learning Centre payed a visit to the clients on Thursday.

Armed with arts and crafts, the children could not be more excited to get going.

And the clients could not be happier at the thought of spending a morning with the energetic kindy kids.

Painting, etching and weaving kept everyone busy but that did not stop the chatter!

To everyone’s surprise, they found out that one of the kindy kids had just turned five.

Soon enough, the foyer was filled with the impromptu singing of ‘Happy Birthday’ to young Emily, who had taken a particular liking to client Margaret Flint.

When everyone was at their creative limit, morning tea was served.

A delicious red velvet cake and cordial was offered to the clients and children, all prepared by our talented Chef.

Even the prospect of yummy food did nothing to stop the chatter.

Soon enough, it was time for the children to leave, much to the client’s dismay.

However, everyone is already counting the days to the kindy kids’ next visit.

Children are a great way to make special connections and to reminisce about raising your own family, as well as your own childhood.

‘They are such lovely children, I can’t wait for them to come back’, client Joyce White said.
