Arcare North Shore: Celebrating June’s birthday with family

Client June Geaney at Arcare North Shore was absolutely delighted when she received a couple of surprise birthday treats from her loving family.

With 20 great grandchildren, June is no doubt the centre of attention as she is often treated to many amusing stories and heartwarming love.

And despite the preventative lockdown, this does not stop her from celebrating this momentous occasion with her family.

June received hand-painted drawings and a lovely letter from her family.

Team members at Arcare North Shore also sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to her which made her feel right at home.

As an added surprise, they presented her with a delicious chocolate cake.

Even though her family was not able to visit the residence, they were able to celebrate this special day with her through video and phone calls.

‘I love them so much, I miss them but I understand. It was an absolutely lovely birthday,’ June shared.
