The smell of fresh pancakes filled the cool afternoon air in the Saunders community of Arcare North Shore as clients got ready for their afternoon tea.
And client Patricia was eager to assist Lifestyle Assistant Andrea in preparing the scrumptious snack.
Patricia, who used to be a teacher, is no stranger to helping others out as she gladly took on the role of assistant cook.
This opportunity to help Andrea out enabled a sense of independence for Patricia.
After cooking the yummy treats, the clients happily decorated their pancakes with a drizzle of maple syrup and a dollop of whipped cream!
By the time they finished, they were all feeling very satisfied.
Patricia and Andrea’s pancakes were a huge hit at the community of North Shore and we just hope that they all still have room for dinner after!
