Celebrating Iris’ birthday with her family through the front glass doors at Arcare Peregian Springs
Iris at Arcare Peregian Springs recently celebrated her birthday with her family through the glass doors of the residence foyer – a new norm for many.
It was a very special day on Friday 7th August as Iris received balloons and presents from her two granddaughters and two great grandchildren.
The children were amused by having to talk through the glass at the front door which made everyone smile.
Iris had a lovely time talking to her family and catching up with what they have all been up to.
Spending time with them on her special day also enabled a sense of fulfilment and continuity for her.
Iris was taken back when presented by Lifestyle Co-ordinator Di with a photo of her and the family that was taken at the door.
Iris was given the photo by Lifestyle in a photo frame with a card from the Arcare Peregian Springs team at lunch time.
During her dinner, Iris had the opportunity to celebrate and share a birthday cake with her fellow clients in the dining room.
