Here at Arcare Peregian Springs, we celebrated Australia Day the true Aussie way – by having a concert and a special lunch.
Lunch was good ol’ Aussie meat pie with mash, mushy peas and gravy.
The clients also had the option to go with a delicious, traditional roast lamb.
After their main course, they enjoyed a pavlova for dessert
Everything was decorated to the Australia Day theme – from Australian table placemats to an Australian concert.
They also sang along to some of their favourite classic Australian songs such as ‘We call Australia Home’ and many more great country hits.
Clients also dressed to the occasion with their ‘We Love Australia’ glasses and many showed their patriotism by waving their Australian flag.
We could not be any prouder to be Australian as we gathered to celebrate Australia Day.
There really is no place like home!
