To celebrate Mexico’s Independence Day, clients and team members at Arcare Helensvale St James put on their best sombreros, ponchos and Day of the Dead costumes.
The amazing array of colours was a sight to behold as the residence was slowly transformed into a colourful fiesta.
Team members paraded around with their costumes as the clients joined in the fun.
‘I’ve never celebrated Mexican Independence Day before, but this is a lot of something different!’ a client commented.
And after putting on a yellow and green sombrero and a fake moustache, the party truly began!
Both clients and team members at Arcare Helensvale St James had a fun day celebrating this momentous cultural event and it was certainly a day not to be forgotten!
